What’s next?
From interviewing to contracts:
How it’s done

You’re finishing your residency and Drs. Dietz or Oliashirazi are making you go get a real job!

What’s next?

There are so many questions to ask…where to look…academic or hospital setting…how do you get a license and DEA number elsewhere…the questions are overwhelming.

On April 4, from 7:00-8:00 p.m., we’ll address just two (but perhaps most important) of them: interviewing and contract negotiation.

What are the right questions to expect from the interviewer? What questions should you be prepared to ask? What questions should you not ask? How do you move from the interview to contract negotiations?

When it comes to the contract, what all should be covered? Should you ask about salary or bonuses? Work schedules or call? Vacation time? CME and dues reimbursements? Moving allowances?

Our moderators are WVOS Resident Board Members Matt Hooper, MD ad Mike Niemann, MD.

Our panelists will include:
From Marshall, Drs. Oliashirazi and Cheung
From WVU, Drs. Dietz and Klein
They will discuss the interview and negotiation processes, then be ready to answer your questions.

This topic is good for residents and orthopaedists in academic, hospital or private practice settings. This is a valuable session for everyone.
